What is the minimum rental time for a party bus?
For Friday and Saturday evening bookings, our party buses require a 4-hour minimum reservation. This ensures the vehicle and chauffeur are fully dedicated to your group for the entire event — from pre-departure preparation through final drop-off. The minimum may increase to 5 hours for major events such as prom, homecoming, New Year's Eve, or large weddings. Daytime and weekday bookings may have different minimums — contact us with your specific itinerary for exact pricing.
Can we bring alcohol on the party bus?
Yes. Passengers 21 and older are welcome to bring their own beverages (BYOB) for consumption in the vehicle. QTS does not supply alcohol. A strict zero-tolerance alcohol policy applies to all prom, homecoming, and any booking where any passenger is under 21 years old. Our chauffeurs are authorized to enforce this policy and will not operate the vehicle if underage alcohol consumption is detected. Glass bottles are discouraged — please use cans or plastic containers where possible.
How far in advance should I book a party bus for prom?
For spring prom and homecoming, we strongly recommend booking 3 to 6 months in advance. DFW-area schools stagger their prom dates across March through May, and our party bus fleet books out entirely during peak prom season. If you are reading this in January or February and haven't booked yet, contact us immediately. For standard weekend bookings outside of major events, 3 to 4 weeks' advance notice is typically sufficient.
What capacity should I choose — how do I pick the right bus size?
We recommend booking for your confirmed headcount rather than your maximum possible count — a bus that feels full and energetic is always more fun than one that feels half-empty. Our capacity options are: 20–25 passengers (intimate group events and smaller bachelorette parties), 30–35 passengers (mid-size wedding parties and friend groups), 37 passengers (the most popular size for DFW concerts and mixed group events), 40 passengers (larger wedding parties and corporate groups), and 45 passengers (maximum capacity for major celebrations and large corporate outings).
What is included in the party bus rental?
Every party bus rental includes: the vehicle and a professional vetted chauffeur for the booked duration, premium Bluetooth audio system (sync your own playlist), dynamic LED ambient lighting, wrap-around perimeter leather seating, climate control, and a professional chauffeur in QTS-standard attire. Ice chests and cooler space are available on most buses. The chauffeur handles all routing, parking logistics, and venue staging — your group focuses entirely on the event.
Do party buses have a bathroom onboard?
Most of our party buses do not have onboard lavatories — they are optimized for passenger capacity and the social cabin experience. We recommend planning restroom stops at venues between legs of multi-stop itineraries, which your chauffeur will help coordinate. If an onboard lavatory is essential for your itinerary (such as a long-distance run to a casino or remote venue), we can discuss routing our executive motorcoach options instead.
Can we play our own music?
Yes — all party buses include Bluetooth audio connectivity so your group controls the playlist from the first minute. The sound system is tuned for group-level volume in the cabin. If you have specific AV requirements (microphone for a MC, specific input types), please mention this when booking so we can confirm the equipped vehicle has what you need.
What happens if we want to extend our rental time during the event?
If your group wants to extend beyond your booked duration, contact dispatch as early as possible during the event. We will check availability and communicate an overtime rate. Extensions are accommodated when the vehicle has no subsequent booking. We always recommend booking generously the first time — it is easier to end early than to scramble for an extension at midnight.
Are your party bus chauffeurs licensed and insured?
Yes. Every QTS chauffeur holds a valid Texas commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement, passes a full background check and drug screening prior to hire, and is covered under QTS commercial insurance. The company carries $1 million+ liability coverage on all vehicle operations. Our chauffeurs are not gig workers — they are vetted, trained professionals who operate under the same standards as our executive black car division.
Can the party bus pick up from multiple locations?
Yes. Multi-stop pickup routing is available and very common — particularly for proms where the group assembles from different homes, or bachelorette parties gathering at different parts of DFW. Provide all pickup addresses during booking. Multi-stop pickups are factored into the start time and overall route. Note that additional pickup stops may affect overall pricing, so the more detail you provide upfront, the more accurate your quote will be.
